Friends, you’re invited to join me on a 30-day self-love challenge, starting May 15, 2017! It’s free, and by signing up, you could win a signed copy of my illustrated creative journal, Find Your Awesome!
Why do you need a self-love challenge?
Because self-love is important. Its presence or lack in our lives affects everything, from our health, to our choice of work and mate. Armed with self-love, we feel braver, we’re less likely to act in self-sabotaging ways or to audition for the love and attention of others. Rather we expect to be happy, to live fulfilled lives with people who care about us.
That said, self-love is often the hardest love of all. We know ourselves well, and it’s all too easy to focus on our perceived flaws and failures. While it would be wonderful if our inner voice were a cheerleader, urging us on to ever-greater heights, many of us spend our days listening instead to our inner critic, a voice whose superpower is finding new, inventive ways to tell us how not-enough we are.
But the idea behind the book (and this challenge) is that we can make self-love into a daily practice, like working out, or meditating, or walking the dog. While the idea of self-love may seem big and nebulous, the practice of it can be exactly the opposite. Our goal will be to start a self-love practice that is fun, concrete, and easily incorporated into your daily routine, with actions that engage you creatively and stir your imagination. From that place of playful expectation, evolution is not only possible, it’s inevitable.
It all starts May 15th, and here’s what you can expect:
- We’ll be going through the Find Your Awesome journal one day at a time, all of us together – a posse of self-love warriors.
- I’ll be sending out daily emails of encouragement and love. (Plus some really fun 30-second videos to inspire and entertain you.)
- We’ll have a private Facebook Group, where we can post daily about our experiences, encourage each other, and, basically, hold each other’s hand.
- You’ll have fun. I promise. My whole goal is to make self-love your default mode, and I can only do that by making it safe, guilt-free, and FUN.
I hope you’ll come play with me!
