    haven’t started to color yet — almost afraid to touch your art work —I don’t want to ruin it —
    but I will give it a try and brake through a barrier of mine : }

    Hi Judy, my husband bought me your inkspirations for women” coloring book for my birthday ;) I fell in love with them and was so happy to have to learned so much about you! #feelingblessed I wanted to ask you what do you use to color with that works best? Again thank you for all you do,

    • j April 25, 2016 at 8:14 am #

      Hi, Kat! I’m so happy you’re happy with Inkspirations for Women! Honestly, I haven’t colored in the Inkspirations books yet (too busy drawing), but I’ve been told that marking pens work fine (Sharpie-style and Copic markers) , with little or no bleed through. (Though, to be safe, if you don’t want to tear the pages out – they’re perforated – I’d put a piece of paper between the page you’re working on and the next one.) Colored pencils also work well. Crayons are a bit harder because of the detail in many of the images.

      Hope that helps. Let me know if you have other questions. Thank you so much for the note! xo

    Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures. As I live in South Africa I wont be able to get your book (R/$ exchange horrific) so I really appreciate the free pictures. Cant wait to do them. Especially the cats as I’m a cat crazy person. Cheryl

    Thanks for the downloads Judy!! I need to get the Inkspiration Recovery books sometime when I can afford it. I am 530 days sober, 191 days smoke free and just lost my father to cancer. I started coloring in 2015 when I quit alcohol as a means to cope. It has worked but there are STILL days when I crave…UGH

    • j August 4, 2017 at 1:01 pm #

      You’re so very welcome, Lori! And congratulations on 530 (and 191 days)! That’s amazing and wonderful, and I’m proud of you from afar! Why don’t you send me a note using my “contact me” page, and we’ll see how we can get you a Recovery book. <3

      • Lori Petkovic August 4, 2017 at 1:06 pm #

        That would be wonderful, I’ll do that and Thanks for your caring and art!
